With continued growth across Connor Consulting and its global client base, we are seeking a Senior Associate – Software Publisher Services. As a key member of the ITAM Consulting team, the Senior Associate – Red Hat Licensing will be responsible for supporting enterprise customers across end-to-end Red Hat Software Asset Management (SAM) engagements. This role focuses on Red Hat subscription compliance, licensing analysis, audit support, and advisory services across complex enterprise environments. The Senior Associate will work across both publisher-aligned and customer-facing engagements, leveraging strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat licensing programs, deployment models, discovery tooling, and SAM platforms to deliver accurate compliance positions, actionable insights, and high-quality outcomes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive Red Hat licensing analysis across RHEL, OpenShift, JBoss, Ansible, Satellite, and related products Interpret and apply Red Hat licensing programs and agreements including SEAP, CCSP, ISV, ESP, and standard subscription models
• Analyze deployment and entitlement data to establish accurate Effective License Positions (ELP)
• Validate compliance across physical, virtual, cloud, and containerized environments
• Review and reconcile data from discovery and infrastructure tools including Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Discovery, RV Tools, Power CLI, cloud-native tools, and enterprise SAM platforms (ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, etc.)
• Identify licensing risks, misconfigurations, and optimization opportunities and clearly document findings
• Support licensing assessments, compliance reviews, and audit activities through data analysis, evidence preparation, and defensible reporting
• Advise stakeholders on compliant deployment scenarios, remediation strategies, and subscription optimization
• Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and procurement teams to validate technical and commercial assumptions
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, licensing positions, and supporting artifacts
• Provide Level 2 support for Red Hat licensing, compliance, and subscription-related queries

Requirements: Experience, Skills, and Characteristics

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management with strong focus on Red Hat licensing
• Strong understanding of Red Hat subscription metrics, virtualization constructs, and cloud deployment models
• Hands-on experience working with enterprise SAM tools and infrastructure discovery data
• Understanding of IT asset lifecycle processes and workflows
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consulting or managed services environment
• Exposure to ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred
• ServiceNow Fundamentals or HAM-specific certification is a plus
