Job overview: 

The Sr. Associate – FP&A will support the financial planning and analysis activities of the division, working closely with the Division Finance Lead. This role involves preparing budgets, forecasts, management reports, and performance dashboards. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in Excel, Power Query and Power BI, possess strong analytical skills, and be able to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the division.
  • Prepare detailed variance analyses, highlighting key drivers and trends.
  • Assist in developing scenario models, cost analyses, and profitability assessments.

Reporting & Insights

  • Collaborate with the Division Finance Lead to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop Excel-based financial models that track KPIs, operational metrics, and divisional performance.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize performance trends and provide real-time insights for leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data and reports.

Business Partnering

  • Support functional teams by providing data-driven insights to aid decision-making.
  • Participate in review meetings with internal stakeholders to explain financial performance and projections.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for divisional leadership and corporate FP&A teams.

Operational Support

  • Maintain financial records, support audit requirements, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Contribute to standardizing and improving reporting processes, templates, and analytical tools.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as required by the Division Finance Lead.

  

Skills and qualifications:

·       Chartered accountant with good academic background.

·       2 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, management reporting, or financial analysis

·       Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to tasks

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely

·       Effective team player with the ability to collaborate in a diverse, team-oriented environment

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including Power Query and Power BI.

·       Experience of working in a large company will be an added advantage.
