Senior Artist

AI overview

Contribute to innovative game design in a small prototyping team, with a focus on rapid iteration and creative freedom for new game ideas.

We’re looking for a Senior Artist to join a small, focused prototyping team working on new game ideas. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys moving fast, experimenting, and bringing ideas to life — from rough concepts to polished, playable prototypes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working in a small research and prototyping team on early-stage game concepts
  • Creating gameplay and UI mockups to quickly test ideas
  • Producing 2D and 3D assets in a casual / hyper-casual style
  • Designing and iterating on game UI/UX
  • Implementing assets directly in Unity
  • Creating and maintaining UI layouts in Unity
  • Animating 2D & 3D assets and UI elements
  • Creating visual effects (VFX) to enhance gameplay and feedback

What we expect from you

Experience & skills

  • Portfolio showcasing casual or hyper-casual game art
  • 3+ years of experience in the game industry
  • Strong skills in 2D and 3D asset creation
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX for games
  • Confident working with Unity (assets, layouts, implementation)
  • Good knowledge of animation basics
  • Strong VFX skills in Unity
  • Excellent command of Adobe Photoshop and Blender
  • Ability to optimize work using store assets and libraries

AI & modern workflows

  • Solid understanding of AI tools and how to use them in production (e.g. Gemini, ChatGPT plus curiosity to experiment and learn more)
  • A mindset focused on fast, high-quality output using all available tools (AI, Unity libraries, asset stores, internal tools, etc.)

Ways of working

  • Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team
  • Clear understanding of prototyping priorities
  • Flexible, adaptable, and quick to learn
  • Creative problem-solver who enjoys finding smart solutions
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate / Advanced

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Unity shaders
  • Experience with Adobe Animate, Spine, or After Effects

Why this role is interesting

  • You’ll work on new ideas and new games, not live production only
  • High level of creative freedom and ownership
  • Strong focus on experimentation and fast iteration
  • Real impact on shaping future projects from the earliest stages
