In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging complex engineering tasks with high-level business objectives. Your expertise will be vital in transforming abstract ideas into actionable technical specifications, ensuring project effectiveness and efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, diagnosing challenges to fine-tune engineering requirements. The dynamic environment will require your adeptness in both technology and strategy as you lead efforts to enhance engineering practices within the organization.
Accountabilities
Diagnose & Translate: Engage with non-technical stakeholders to decipher the 'signal from the noise'. Transform high-level opportunities into precise technical specifications.
Iterative Discovery & Prototyping: Build immediate, throwaway proofs-of-concept to validate assumptions interactively with stakeholders.
Integration Engineering: Act as the hands-on integrator connecting abstract AI models and data platforms into real-world hybrid-cloud environments.
Drive Adoption: Guide teams on best practices, remove operational blockers, and ensure solutions are adopted into daily workflows.
Feedback Loop: Capture user friction points and provide detailed technical insights to core engineering teams.
Requirements
7+ years of engineering experience in consultative, solutions architecture or forward-deployed roles.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity and define technical approaches in shifting environments.
Ability to connect abstract AI models to real-world workflows and business logic.
Versatile technical skillset across multiple languages; adept in hands-on coding and strategic workshops.
Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and Cloud-Native technologies for troubleshooting in distributed environments.
Advanced oral and written communication skills; able to explain complex systems to non-engineers.
