Senior Application Manager - Finance

To achieve our common goals, we expect your contribution in:

  • Technical management of projects for the implementation, maintenance and further development of financial applications in cooperation with our external suppliers and other IT departments
  • Support of third-party software solutions for our business customers
  • Preparation and advice in the selection process of new softwares
  • Being the first point of contact for all stakeholders dealing with issues related to our applications
  • Coordination of external suppliers in the implementation of new business requirements

Requirements

  • At least a bachelor's degree in IT, economics or a similar field
  • Comprehensive IT knowledge (networks, databases, servers) to be able to analyze and solve various complex problems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of implementing and operating financial applications
  • Experience in project management and coordinating external service providers
  • Great interest in developing professional internal application operations and project support
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology (ideally certified)
  • Structured, solution-oriented and independent work within a team, with strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Intercultural competence and willingness to travel

Nice to have skills:

  • experience gained in SAP FI/CO/TR related projects
  • Experience in implementing IT projects and managing external service providers
