Through LiftMaster and other major brands, they are the leader for garage door openers, gate operators, commercial door openers, and dock levelers. Their pioneering products and services are powered by myQ technology, connecting hardware to the cloud, and providing users with seamless, secure access to their garage, home, community, or business. We’re combining CG’s long-standing industry experience with Velotio's local engineering capabilities to onboard a team of 150+ engineers to build the next generation of smart access products.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
- Must have native experience with Kotlin
- Excellent understanding of design principles and implementation of MVVM for Android
- Expertise in RESTful services, APIs and the JSON file format & parsing.
- Knowledge of basic design best practices: Single Responsibility; Dependency Injection
- Experience in creating technical documentation (UML, Sequence, etc).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum
- Experience working with Git for source control
- Experience working with JIRA
- Experience with IOT
- Understanding of CI/CD, frameworks, and deployment processes is desired
- Developer shall follow basic best practices: Descriptive variable and function naming; Quality code comments; Good object-oriented programming design

- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, MCA or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Mobile development bootcamp, organized training, or relevant certification is preferred
