We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Android Developer to join our team. You love consulting with customers and delivering both exceptional technical solutions and an inspiring user experience. You design robust and strong systems and write exceptional code. You love being a trusted advisor to customers and working closely with them throughout projects. We want someone with innate curiosity and the drive to make a difference, both in the way we work and the outcomes we create.
What you’ll do:
- Provide guidance on technical solutions and limitations to clients and your team throughout projects
- Provide technical guidance to customers and sales and assisting with solution design and estimations in proposals
- Design solution architecture and oversee architecture designed on other projects
- Develop high functioning native Android applications
- Implement new functionality adhering to coding standards
- Release incremental builds to clients for acceptance testing
- Recommend, build and update code improvements and features
- Set and maintain project priorities in coordination with Team Leads and Project Managers
- Attend regular client meetings and provide value to clients through active meeting participation and provision of sound technical advice
- Provide exceptional customer service and a great customer experience of Transpire/CI&T
What you’ll bring:
- A passion for delivering exceptional technical solutions and customer experiences
- Outstanding consulting skills, with strong negotiation and influencing skills with customers
- Experience working with:
- Java (Android)
- Kotlin
- CICD
- Jenkins/Bitrise or equivalent
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT or similar degree
- A drive to work as part of a collaborative team
- Problem solving abilities when working with unfamiliar solutions
- Strong documentation skills and mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised with great time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
