We are looking for a Senior Airworthiness Engineer to join our Engineering team in Estonia (Tallinn), Latvia (remote) or Lithuania (Vilnius).


The Senior Airworthiness Engineer oversees, develops, and coordinates all technical services projects, with a special focus on determining airworthiness and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and purchase/redelivery conditions during aircraft deliveries, lease returns, and repositioning projects.

 

Main responsibilities 

  • Lead the execution of assigned technical services projects
  • Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with clients
  • Ensure compliance with technical services processes and procedures, holding the unit accountable for adherence
  • Perform physical inspection to determine assets' physical condition and compliance with agreed legal conditions
  • Collaborate with the Technical Services Manager to drive the strategic growth of the unit
  • Assess new service requests and business opportunities, oversee the initiation of new services
  • Advise on manpower and resource planning of the department

 

Main Requirements 

  • University/aeronautical degree of aviation education
  • 3-5 years of experience within aviation, preferably with Western-built commercial aircraft
  • Great project and team management skills, including communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven competence in workload management, workforce coordination, and resource planning
  • Proven ability to manage communication with civil aviation authorities
  • Knowledge of EASA Part- CAMO, Part-M, and industry best practices for airworthiness
  • Experience with multiple aviation regulations (EASA, FAA, 2-REG etc.)
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and apply regulatory requirements at the workplace
  • Experience with IMS like OASES, AMOS, GANNET is beneficial
  • Ability to travel on short notice (mainly within EU)
