Role Overview:
As a Senior AI Web App & Automation Developer, you will lead the creation of internal tools and automations that leverage artificial intelligence to increase efficiency across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom internal AI-powered web applications and tools to streamline company operations, decision-making, and client service operations.
- Automate spreadsheet-based processes and workflows, eliminating manual tasks and improving efficiency across teams.
- Integrate various external APIs and build scalable backend services to connect internal systems and data sources seamlessly.
- Research and implement new AI-driven automations (e.g., leveraging machine learning and LLMs) to keep Kynship at the cutting edge of innovation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, creative, operations, etc.) to gather requirements and ensure tools meet business needs and usability standards.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience: Extensive experience (5+ years) in software development, with a focus on AI-driven applications and workflow automation.
- Web app development: Proven ability to design and implement web applications using modern frameworks and languages. Expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, including experience with Node.js and Next.js.
- AI and ML proficiency: Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts. Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs (e.g. OpenAI GPT-4), familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, and knowledge of vector databases and prompt engineering best practices.
- Workflow automation: Experience building or automating complex workflows and processes. Familiarity with integration/automation platforms such as Zapier, n8n, Make.com, and the ability to create custom scripts or connectors as needed.
- API integration: Solid experience integrating with third-party services and RESTful APIs, and building scalable backend services to connect data across systems.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, and document your work clearly.
- Problem-solving: Self-motivated, creative problem solver who stays up-to-date with emerging technologies and can quickly learn new tools or frameworks. A passion for leveraging AI to improve business processes is a must.
