Senior AI Efficiency Architect & Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a deeply technical, hands-on specialist to design and build the core AI tooling infrastructure that powers developer efficiency across the organization.
As our Senior AI Efficiency Architect & Specialist, you will own the architecture, implementation, and long-term reliability of internal AI systems and integrations. You will work closely with our AI Evangelist to turn strategic AI initiatives into secure, scalable, production-grade platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys building robust systems that others depend on.
Your Mission
Design, implement, and maintain the technical foundation for AI and ML tools that improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability across the engineering organization.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- AI Tooling Architecture & Design: lead the end-to-end technical design and architecture for internal AI/ML services and integrations used by engineering teams (e.g., custom code analyzers, internal RAG systems, secure wrappers for external LLMs).
- Hands-on Implementation: act as the principal developer, writing clean, scalable, and highly performant code to build and integrate efficiency tools into LeoVegas's existing CI/CD pipelines, source control, and engineering platforms.
- Security & Compliance: ensure all AI tooling and integrations adhere to stringent security, data privacy, and compliance standards, especially when dealing with proprietary code or data.
- Deep Technical Support: serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues related to the adoption and performance of AI efficiency tools.

Autonomous Technical Decision-Making: Take ownership and make critical technical decisions on architecture, technology stack, and implementation details for core efficiency services, ensuring alignment with the overall engineering strategy.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Expert Level Coding: exceptional proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) with a focus on building robust, scalable services and APIs.
- ML/AI Systems: hands-on experience with ML infrastructure, MLOps, deploying models (including LLMs) in a production environment, and managing cloud-based ML services.
- System Architecture: proven track record in designing and implementing complex, distributed systems and integrating third-party tools into existing enterprise platforms.
- SDLC/DevOps Tooling: expert knowledge of the tools that underpin the SDLC (e.g., GitLab/GitHub, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging systems).
- Problem-Solving & Detail Orientation: a highly analytical mindset with the ability to dive deep into complex technical challenges and emerge with simple, elegant solutions.
- Autonomy: capacity to manage complex, long-running technical projects and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
