We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior AI & Automation Engineer to lead our AI agent development and enterprise automation initiatives. This role goes beyond traditional automation -  you will be the driving force behind how GoGlobal adopts, implements, and scales AI agents across the business. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in AI/LLM-powered agents, n8n, Microsoft Power Platform, and API integrations with the strategic vision to identify high-impact automation opportunities across a 500+ employee, fully remote organization operating in 140+ countries. 

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • AI Strategy & Agent Development 
    • Define and own the AI and automation strategy and roadmap for the organization, identifying where AI agents can drive the most business value 
    • Design, build, and deploy AI agents using LLM frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) to automate complex, multi-step business processes 
    • Evaluate and recommend AI platforms, tools, and frameworks for enterprise adoption, staying current with the rapidly evolving AI agent landscape 
    • Champion AI adoption across teams by educating stakeholders, running proof-of-concepts, and demonstrating ROI of AI-driven automation 
  • Automation & Integration 
    • Design and develop end-to-end workflow automations using n8n, Power Automate (Cloud/Desktop), and other automation platforms 
    • Build and orchestrate complex multi-tool integrations across the SaaS ecosystem 
    • Integrate with REST APIs, webhooks, Microsoft Graph API, OData endpoints, and custom connectors to create seamless data flows between systems 
    • Build responsive Canvas Apps using Power Apps and develop chatbots/copilots using Power Virtual Agents / Copilot Studio 
    • Work with data sources including Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure SQL, and cloud databases 
  • Leadership & Collaboration 
    • Act as the subject matter expert on AI and automation 
    • Collaborate with IT, HR, Finance, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into automated solutions 
    • Document design specifications, architecture diagrams, and maintain a comprehensive automation knowledge base 
    • Mentor team members on AI tools, automation best practices, and emerging technologies 

Requirements

    • 7+ years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, with at least 2+ years focused on AI/LLM-based solutions 
    • Proven experience designing, building, and deploying AI agents in production environments (not just prototypes) 
    • Proficiency with n8n workflow automation platform, including building custom nodes, complex workflows, and webhook integrations 
    • Deep expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio) 
    • Solid understanding of LLM fundamentals: prompt engineering, function/tool calling, RAG, vector databases, embedding models, fine-tuning concepts, and token management 
    • Strong API architecture knowledge, including Microsoft Graph API, REST/SOAP, OAuth 2.0, and webhook patterns 
    • Proven knowledge of Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure AI Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL) 
    • Familiarity with AI model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and open-source models via Hugging Face or Ollama 
    • Excellent communication skills - ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present strategic recommendations to leadership 

Nice to Have 

    • MCP (Model Context Protocol) experience for building AI tool integrations 
    • Make (Integromat) or Zapier experience for complementary no-code automation 
    • Azure AI Services: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Cognitive Services 
    • RPA: Power Automate Desktop, UiPath 
    • BI & Reporting: Power BI for automation dashboards and AI analytics 
    • Experience with Docker/containers for self-hosting automation tools 
    • Jira Service Management (JSM) and Atlassian ecosystem automation 

Programming skills, Software Expertise and AI Development 

    • Strong knowledge in at least one programming language like NodeJS, Java, Python or C# with design patterns 
    • Strong knowledge in scripting like PowerShell, YAML or Windows CMD 
    • Strong knowledge in Cloud ecosystems to understand and select services based on requirements but still considering costing in mind. 
    • Good knowledge in toolkits and extensions like Cursor, M365 agent tool kit or Claude 
    • Working experience in Azure Data Factory, Copilot Studio, VS Code with AI tool kit extensions, Any Azure AI services (like MS foundry, Azure Open AI, Cognitive services etc.,)
