Mid Level Delivery Manager

Lead the delivery that powers BizCover’s insurance product innovation.

At BizCover, we make insurance easy by connecting small businesses with the right insurance products – quickly and online. Our Product Team is at the heart of that mission, working closely with insurer partners to optimise, maintain, and evolve the insurance products that we offer to our customers.

We’re looking for a delivery focused Mid-Level Delivery Manager, with approximately 4-6 years experience in a delivery focused agile project management role, to take the lead on coordinating delivery across our Product Team. You wil work closely with both our insurance partners and internal product team to help manage our insurer relationships and ongoing product updates and also support on strategic initiatives such as the addition of new insurance products to the BizCover platform. You’ll guide a cross-functional squad that includes our Product Maintenance team (BA, Tech BA/DBA, developers, and QAs) and the workflow of our Insurance Product Specialists, while also managing dependencies with our Technology teams.

This is a role for someone who thrives on delivering effectively ensuring clarity and building strong relationships - both internally and with our insurer partners.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee Agile delivery across BAU updates, production issues, and strategic product changes.
• Work with the Tech Delivery team to Implement and optimise processes across the Product team to drive delivery efficiency.
• Facilitate ceremonies and planning sessions for the Insurance Product Maintenance squad, keeping priorities clear and delivery flowing.
• Manage dependencies with Technology, Analytics, and other downstream teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Collaborate with BizCover’s internal Product Managers to align delivery with commercial goals and insurer relationships.
• Identify and resolve risks, blockers, and delivery challenges early.
• Use Agile metrics to drive continuous improvement and boost team performance.
• Mentor team members on Agile practices, fostering a culture of accountability and self-organisation.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• 4-6 years in Agile delivery (Scrum Master, Agile PM, or similar), ideally in a business focused role in insurance, fintech, or aggregator environments.
• Capability over qualifications. Experience and achievements in prior roles is more valuable than extensive degrees and project management qualifications.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across primarily across BAU and enhancements while also supporting across project work as required.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at multiple levels - you will be working closely with the GM of BizCover on a daily basis in this role
• Solid knowledge of JIRA, Agile boards, and delivery reporting.
• Comfortable working across both technical and non-technical teams.
• A commercial mindset, with familiarity in pricing, underwriting, or insurer product processes a bonus.
• Located in Sydney, or willing to travel to Sydney for Tuesday and Friday each week
