Senior Accounting Analyst | Argentina

What your day-to-day will look like
  • Lead and execute monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies;
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions;
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and international guidelines (e.g., IFRS);
  • Partner closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A teams for cross-functional alignment;
  • Support external and internal audits, including preparation of documentation and responses;
  • Monitor and improve accounting processes, driving efficiency and automation;
  • Review journal entries and ensure proper documentation and support;
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports;
  • Proactively identify risks and propose solutions to strengthen controls and accuracy.

What you need to shine in this role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  • +4–6 years of experience in accounting or audit (Fintech experience is a plus);
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP);
  • Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting;
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite);
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally;
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills;
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

Bonus points if you have
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or fast-paced tech environments;
  • Knowledge of multi-entity and multi-country accounting operations;
  • Experience with process improvement or automation initiatives;
  • Experience working with shared service centers or global teams.
