Senior Accountant (US)

This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys owning complex accounting processes and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. You will play a key role in preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing month-end and year-end close activities, and supporting audits. Working in a dynamic environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Accountabilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, month-end reports, and balance sheet analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Complete bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and CSAs across multiple offices.
• Oversee month-end processes, including flux analysis to meet evolving reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure full adherence to GAAP standards.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support organizational planning.
• Mentor and assist junior accounting staff, offering guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to strengthen accounting workflows.
• Provide support on various tasks and projects as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance position with advanced understanding of GAAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, and audit-related documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and support team development.
