We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, managing audits, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The position is remote and offers flexibility while working within a collaborative team.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Supervise the monthly and annual closing process.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance.
Lead audits and liaise with external auditors.
Monitor cash flow and conduct financial analysis.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
Review internal controls and improve accounting processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Assist in strategic financial decision-making for the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA).
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
