Senior Accountant

At CardoO, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making. You will manage core accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and maintain strong control over inventory and cost structures within a fast-paced retail or distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
• Oversee invoicing, billing processes, and payment collections
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
• Manage inventory accounting and conduct stock reconciliations
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle VAT and tax filings while ensuring full regulatory compliance
• Monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and analyze profitability margins
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure proper stock control
• Maintain accurate financial records within Odoo ERP system
• Support internal and external audits and financial reviews
  
  Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred (but not mandatory)

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, trading, or distribution sectors
• Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting and cost control
• In-depth knowledge of VAT and tax regulations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
