We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Senior Accountant to lead and elevate core accounting operations, drive system migration initiatives, and ensure audit readiness across our Southeast Asia (SEA) entities.

This role plays a central part in strengthening our financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance standards, while partnering closely with regional finance and operations teams.


Your Mission: Responsibilities Overview


Accounting Operations

  • Lead day-to-day transactional accounting: AP, AR, GL, Intercompany, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close activities across SEA entities.
  • Maintain, enhance, and enforce robust internal controls.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting financial documentation.


System Migration & Process Transformation

  • Support finance system migration projects through data validation, process mapping, UAT, and workflow optimisation.
  • Collaborate with IT, regional finance, and operations to ensure smooth integration of new tools and processes.
  • Document, refine, and align accounting processes with new system capabilities and evolving business needs.
  • Provide training and support to client servicing users during and after migration.


Audit Support & Compliance

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate efficient audit processes.
  • Prepare audit documentation and respond to audit queries accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations and group accounting policies.
  • Partner closely with the regional team to identify and mitigate financial risks through strong control frameworks.

    • Month-end and year-end close processes
    • Audit preparation and support
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or regional finance environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP or system migration projects is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly with regional teams.
