About the Job

  • Own end-to-end revenue accounting for retailer-related revenue streams across multiple entities, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue analytics under ASC 606.
  • Support international expansion and acquisitions by operationalizing revenue policies, mapping data and opening balances, and integrating new entities and products into our revenue processes and systems.
  • Drive process improvement and automation using tools such as Alteryx and SQL-enabled workflows to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and shorten close timelines.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance (FP&A, Billing, Collections), Data/Engineering, Legal, and Sales to ensure contract terms, data pipelines, and system configurations align with revenue recognition requirements.
  • Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting, prepare audit-ready documentation, and manage external audit and SOX requests related to retailer revenue.
  • Deliver clear, decision-ready reporting and insights on revenue drivers, trends, and variances, and proactively identify risks and opportunities as the business evolves.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in revenue accounting under US GAAP, including hands-on ownership of month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
  • Practical knowledge of ASC 606 (revenue recognition), including contract review, variable consideration, and deferred revenue.
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups) and comfort working with large datasets and revenue subledgers; experience preparing audit-ready workpapers.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional partners and maintaining SOX-compliant processes and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA (active) or progress toward CPA.
  • Experience with international operations, multi-entity/multi-currency environments, and familiarity with IFRS 15.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and revenue systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday Financials, Zuora, RevPro/RevRec), and data/automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Python).
