What We Are Looking For

Persado is looking for a Senior Accountant to take a key role within the Accounting & Finance department supporting our global business. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will own core financial reporting responsibilities including consolidated accounts, audit management, and investor reporting, while also supporting month-end close and technical accounting queries.

This role is primarily remote but requires occasional travel within the London area for in-person collaboration with the team (up to once per week).

What You Will Work On

• Serving as a key contact point for our group and local audits, managing relationships with external auditors and coordinating audit deliverables
• Preparing our consolidated accounts under US GAAP, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards
• Assisting with technical accounting standard queries, including complex areas such as derivatives and warrants
• Supporting the month-end close process, including reconciliations and preparation of journal entries in NetSuite
• Preparing and maintaining accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investor reporting, including preparation and external distribution of investor-facing financial materials
• Assisting with compliance reporting, including VAT and income tax
• Supporting AP and T&E processes
• Communicating with internal departments for transaction detail and addressing ad hoc financial requests
• Assisting with FP&A reporting requests and cash projections
• Other ad hoc accounting projects

What You Bring

• CPA, ACCA, or ACA qualified (required)
• 4+ years of related accounting experience, preferably in the services industry
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including US GAAP (IFRS also desirable).
• Experience with financial consolidation, multi-entity accounting, and international operations preferred.
• Demonstrated experience of managing external audits
• Strong MS Office experience (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) 
• Excellent written and verbal skills 
• Ability to present complex information in understandable way 
• Accounting systems experience (Netsuite preferred)
