Position:
We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Accountant, ideally a team player as they will join a small global team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost improvement.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing corrective action recommendations.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance for effective decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with government reporting, tax filings, and regulatory standards compliance.
- Work closely with broader accounting and finance team, and other partners, to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation
- Complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests for CFO
- Apply policies, procedures, controls and methodologies as appropriate
- Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
- Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
- Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a Controller or financial management role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
- Highly proficient in enterprise software tools (Oracle Fusion preferred).
- Organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and requests at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
