Senior Accountant Confidential Company We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team and support core financial operations, month-end processes, and reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; support the integrity and accuracy of the GL Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation Perform account reconciliations (bank, fixed assets, accruals, prepaid, intercompany, etc.) Assist in developing and implementing process improvements, internal controls, and automation Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial insights to management Support ad-hoc reporting, projects, and analysis as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas) Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills CPA or progress toward CPA preferred but not required Benefits & Perks Hybrid schedule: 2–3 days per week from home Competitive compensation package Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) with company match Paid time off, holidays, and sick time Professional development opportunities Stable and growing company with long-term career potential
