We are a growing CPA firm committed to delivering exceptional financial, tax, and advisory services to our clients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounting team.
Responsibilities:
Perform and review general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of postings.
Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively.
Clean up and maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring proper classification of transactions.
Prepare and review journal entries with a strong understanding of debits and credits.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with other departments and clients to ensure accurate and complete financial data.
Utilize Great Plains to manage and report on financial transactions (strongly preferred).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; Great Plains experience strongly preferred.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
