We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our team in the Netherlands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic scale-up environment - where things move fast, structures are still evolving, and flexibility is key.
As our Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in owning and improving the day-to-day finance operations in the Netherlands while also contributing to management reporting and financial insights. You won’t just review numbers - you’ll help build processes, solve problems, and ensure financial accuracy as the company scales.

Location: On-site, 5 days per week
What you'll do
- Own the day-to-day financial administration for the Netherlands entity, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and financial records.
- Manage payments, expenses, and employee reimbursements, ensuring timely processing and policy compliance.
- Lead the monthly closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and deliver monthly management reporting for the Netherlands, providing clear financial insights to management.
- Support financial analysis and performance tracking to provide insights into results and trends.
- Help build and improve financial processes in a fast-growing scale-up, bringing structure while staying comfortable in a dynamic environment.

Background

4+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Experience processing payments, expenses, and reimbursements in a professional environment.
- Familiarity with management reporting and financial analysis.

Fluent in Dutch and English.
