We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant (CPA) to support financial operations and reporting activities in Fremont, Nebraska. This position is designed for a detail-focused accounting professional who enjoys working closely with management teams while maintaining high financial accuracy across core accounting functions.

The role focuses on supporting daily accounting workflows, preparing reliable financial statements, and ensuring US GAAP compliance within the Fremont office environment. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite for a portion of the schedule, as fully remote work is not available in Fremont, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee general ledger management, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account maintenance.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure US GAAP adherence and support audit, tax filing, and reporting requirements.
  • Analyze financial performance results and provide actionable insights to assist leadership decisions.
  • Maintain internal control systems and ensure proper documentation across accounting records.
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams on financial and accounting matters.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency in Fremont, Nebraska operations.

Requirements

  • CPA certification is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting environments.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards and financial compliance practices.
  • Experience working in onsite or hybrid office settings.
  • Proficiency with accounting software systems and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
