Responsibilities

  • Accountable for accuracy of monthly reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly journal entries
  • Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
  • Record, classify and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with IFRS
  • Provide support for accurate and timely preparation of financial reports
  •  Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheets, verifying information for reporting
  • Actual vs. budget analysis
  • Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related projects as required
  • Preparation of inter-company reconciliations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller/CFO, as required

Compensation Range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually 
The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.

Requirements/Skills and Abilities

Required:

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related major
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Knowledge of international exchange rates and handling of secured funds transactions
  • MS Excel Power User
  • Willingness to complete tasks across all accounting functions and support other accounting team members and/or projects, when necessary
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross functional teams
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully; and work well under pressure, with a sense of both urgency and thoroughness
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Professional, positive, and energetic attitude

Desired:

  • PoC and Project accounting experience
  • Strong Experience with GAAP/IFRS
  • Experience in B1 (Business One- SAP)High degree of computer literacy, including use of various software tools; advanced User of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience in  one  or  more  of  the  following  areas  would  be  advantageous:  Warehousing, Distribution or Bulk Material Handling
