The Role   We are hiring a Senior Account Manager to help scale ShopBack Ads, our fast growing retail media and advertising business in Australia.   This role is focused on growing and setting the bar for what exceptional client service looks like within ShopBack Ads. You will own and grow our most strategic Tier 1 partnerships across FMCG and Alcohol, ensuring our clients see ShopBack as a core driver of growth, not just another channel.   ShopBack Ads is a rapidly expanding business unit focused on helping brands reach high intent shoppers at the moment of purchase. It sits at the intersection of commerce, media, and performance marketing, offering brands a powerful and measurable alternative to traditional digital advertising.   You will play a critical role in building long term partnerships, driving revenue growth, and influencing how Tier 1 brands invest, plan, and activate on the platform.   ShopBack Ads operates like a startup within a startup. We are building, testing, iterating, and scaling quickly. This role is for someone who sees themselves as a founder and owner of their client portfolio, not just a service lead. You will be trusted to run your patch like a business, operate against commercial sales targets, and take full ownership of outcomes. We are looking for people with high levels of drive, curiosity, and accountability who want to redefine what great client success looks like. What You’ll Do
  • Own and grow Tier 1 FMCG and Alcohol brand partnerships
  • Operate against clear commercial sales targets and revenue goals
  • Retain and expand revenue across existing partners year on year
  • Build and lead joint business plans with clear annual and quarterly objectives
  • Plan and execute large scale annual activations and always on strategies
  • Work with clients to plan and execute awareness, recruitment, and targeted campaigns that enable them to grow on ShopBack
  • Use deep performance data to inform strategy, optimisation, and future investment
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor while maintaining a strong commercial mindset
  • Identify and close upsell opportunities across media, activations, and new products
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless execution and strong outcomes
  • Raise the bar on client service standards across ShopBack Ads
  • What We’re Looking For
  • 3 to 6 years experience in account management, client success, or media sales
  • Proven experience working to commercial sales targets
  • Experience managing Tier 1 brands, ideally within FMCG, Alcohol, or adjacent categories
  • Strong commercial instincts with a track record of growing revenue and partnerships
  • Deep understanding of performance data and how to use it to drive decisions
  • Highly organised with strong planning and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident engaging and influencing senior brand stakeholders
  • Thrives in fast moving environments where products and processes evolve
  • A self starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
