The Senior Account Manager is responsible for overseeing an assigned book of project work, ensuring that agency work remains consistent with client objectives and is delivered on time. The role will collaborate with the team to build strong client relationships and produce excellent work.   • Determine deliverables, timing, and budget.
  • Develop detailed Project Briefs for all new projects.
  • Lead kickoffs and internal and external status meetings.
  • Work across the extended team (art/copy/editorial/project management/account coordination/finance) to achieve internal and external project goals.
  • Review and sign off at each phase of project routing and ensure that all team members follow agency process.
  • Engage with clients and act as a pivotal link between client and agency.
  • Work with Team Lead to obtain necessary client feedback and approvals.
  • Effectively communicate and provide status updates to the client.
  • Deliver timely and thought-out decisions in response to project demands.
  • Drive development of Client-facing status reports, aligning with internal partners (Project Management and Account) to provide clear and accurate project updates
  • Demonstrate an understanding of therapeutic categories and remain current on the competitive landscape.
  • Act as primary financial liaison, working closely with our internal Finance Management Team to manage internal and external finance reports.
  • Requirements:
  • 3+ years pharmaceutical advertising agency experience with promotional experience
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions
  • Demonstrate eagerness to learn, collaborate with internal teammates and focus on positive project and workstream outcomes
  • Experience in Veeva or other client MLR and Ziflow (or other digital routing) platforms
  • Experience managing internal and external finance reports
  • Desire and ability to understand scientific information
