Senior Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Account Manager to join our organisation in Galway, Ireland. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and a decisive approach to account management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client objectives and exceed expectations.

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring consistent communication and relationship development with key stakeholders • Develop and implement account strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term client retention • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities whilst maintaining a consultative approach to client needs • Conduct regular account reviews and performance analyses to assess progress against agreed objectives • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal teams including product, delivery, and support to ensure seamless service provision • Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, forecasting, and pipeline development • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility • Represent the organisation at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities • Mentor junior account management staff and contribute to the development of best practices within the team
  • Minimum 3 years' proven experience in account management or similar client-facing senior role • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large, complex accounts and driving revenue growth • Exceptional relationship management and people skills with the ability to build trust and credibility • Strong negotiation and communication abilities, both written and verbal • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities with the ability to identify market opportunities • Proven ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets • Desirable: Experience in specific industry sectors or vertical markets • Desirable: Project management experience and advanced data analysis skills • Desirable: Multilingual capabilities
