At Devsu, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager who will transform strategic partnerships into exponential growth. As the trusted advisor and commercial strategist for our most valued enterprise clients, you'll drive meaningful impact by owning and growing relationships with strategic accounts, turning partnerships into long-term success stories. In this role, you'll shape business strategy by leading high-stakes RFP processes and expanding our footprint within enterprise organizations through strategic vision and commercial acumen. You'll be the vital bridge between our delivery teams and clients, collaborating closely to create seamless experiences that drive results. With full commercial ownership of established accounts, you'll have the autonomy to build and execute growth strategies that showcase your expertise and vision.

This position offers a hybrid work environment based in Quito, balanced between client engagement and remote flexibility. You'll spend approximately 50% of your time working on-site with clients, building the strong face-to-face relationships that are essential for enterprise account success, while dedicating the other 50% to remote work from home for strategic planning, internal collaboration, and account management activities. This structure ensures you maintain the high-touch client presence needed to drive results while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. Primary Objectives

  • Grow revenue within assigned strategic accounts.
  • Increase access to RFPs and early-stage opportunities.
  • Improve proposal quality and win rates.
  • Build long-term trust with middle and senior client leadership.
  • Support the growth team on LATAM inbound leads and develop relationships with other strategic accounts. 

Key Responsibilities

Account Growth & Expansion

  • Own the commercial relationship for assigned strategic accounts.
  • Be physically present at the client site multiple days per month.
  • Develop and maintain an account growth plan (stakeholders, initiatives, whitespace).
  • Identify new opportunities before they become formal RFPs.
  • Ensure Devsu is consistently invited to participate in relevant RFPs.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with middle and upper management.
  • Identify and cultivate internal client champions.
  • Maintain a formal stakeholder map for each strategic account, updated monthly.
  • Understand client priorities, budget cycles, and decision-making dynamics.
  • Represent Devsu as a long-term strategic partner, not just a vendor.

RFP & Proposal Leadership

  • Coordinate closely with delivery teams to prepare proposals.
  • Translate client needs into clear commercial narratives.
  • Ensure proposals are context-aware, competitive, and winnable.
  • Manage follow-ups and feedback throughout the RFP process.

Inbound LATAM Lead Management

  • Own and qualify inbound LATAM leads.
  • Prioritize and route leads appropriately.
  • Support deal shaping and proposal preparation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility.

Internal Coordination

  • Serve as the bridge between client, delivery, and leadership.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM updates (pipeline, contacts, next steps).
  • Provide regular account, stakeholder engagement, and pipeline updates to leadership.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in: Strategic account management, B2B services sales, Consulting or professional services
  • Experience working with large enterprises.
  • Exposure to banking, financial services, or regulated industries is a strong plus.
  • English level required: Intermediate (B2).

Commercial & Relationship Skills

    • Strong enterprise relationship-building capability.
    • Comfortable engaging with managers, directors, and executives.
    • High emotional intelligence and political awareness.
