CloudSmiths is seeking a high-impact Strategic Account Manager to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be the bridge between our clients' digital strategies and our delivery execution.
This is not just about maintaining accounts; it is about acting as a trusted advisor to guide clients through their transformational journeys while driving a 30% year-on-year revenue growth in your portfolio.


You will partner with Delivery, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that what we sell is delivered in alignment with client objectives

  • Support the Executive Head of to grow the services revenue.
  • Transition contracts from fixed-price projects to long-term teams, ensuring higher utilisation and better margins.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts, including RFPs, proposals, negotiations, and contract renewals.
  • Deeply understand your clients' business and digital strategies to proactively position CloudSmiths for footprint expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (consultants, developers, solutions architects) to develop high-impact solutions.
  • Work with Solution Engineering to define exactly how CloudSmiths will mobilize and deliver proposed services.
  • Engage with delivery teams to track project progress, communicating updates effectively and highlighting challenges early.
  • Take ownership of the onboarding, renewal, and off-boarding of CloudSmiths individuals and teams deployed at clients.

Essentials

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience in the software or services industry
  • Proven history of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry and its regulatory landscape (e.g., data sovereignty, cloud compliance).
  • Ability to articulate the value of cloud technologies (Google Cloud) and digital transformation to non-technical stakeholders.
