About the Role
Founding Account Executive (AE)
This is not a “follow the playbook” role.
This is a “build the playbook” role.
As a Founding Account Executive for ICM, you’ll be one of the first Account Executives bringing our Intelligent Contract Management to the market. You won’t just close deals, you’ll help define how we sell, who we sell to, and what great looks like.
This role is built for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves ownership, and wants real influence on product positioning, GTM strategy, and revenue motion.
You’ll run the entire sales cycle end-to-end from first touch to closing, focused on upper mid-market and enterprise accounts.
What Success Looks Like
Pipeline & GTM Impact
Build a $1M+ qualified pipeline annually, largely self-generated
Pipeline Split:
50% inbound
50% creative outbound (email, calls, events, social, partnerships, referrals)
Help shape outbound messaging, ICPs, and discovery frameworks for ICM
Revenue Outcomes
$250K+ ARR from ICM and Digital Signature deals
Close mid-market and enterprise customers consistently
Average deal size in the $10K–$30K ACV range, with room to grow
What You’ll Do
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → value proof → negotiation →close
Sell Signeasy ICM + E-Signature to senior decision-makers in mid-market and enterprise accounts
Run high-impact discovery and executive-level demos
Build and manage a high-quality, forecastable pipeline
Partner closely with:
Sales Leadership
Product & Marketing
BDRs
What makes you a fit
4–6 years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with a BDR → AE progression
Track record of consistent quota attainment
Repeated wins in the $10K–$50K ACV range, with 100%+ quota performance
3+ years selling into the US and/or EMEA
Proven ability to self-generate ≥50% of pipeline
Strong discovery, ROI storytelling, objection handling, and deal control skills
Comfortable running deals using MEDDICC, Sandler, or similar frameworks
Disciplined operator:
Clean CRM hygiene
Accurate forecasting
Weekly execution cadence
Collaborative mindset: knows when and how to pull in BDRs, Product and Marketing
Genuinely excited about technology and modern SaaS products
