Senior 3D Art Generalist - Brookhaven

Role Overview

At Voldex, we operate some of the most successful experiences on Roblox. Brookhaven reaches millions of players every day and continues to grow through constant updates and new content.

🌟 We’re looking for a Senior 3D Art Generalist to help lead asset production for Brookhaven while maintaining the quality, performance, and consistency that define the game’s visual identity. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Art Lead and game team to deliver high-impact assets, guide other artists, and help ensure that new content meets the visual and technical standards required for a live game at massive scale.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong artistic craftsmanship with technical understanding, and enjoys collaborating across teams to bring polished game content to players. 🤝

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end creation of 3D assets for Brookhaven, including housing, props, environments, and gameplay elements.

• Work closely with the Art Lead to execute Brookhaven’s art direction and maintain consistency across assets.

• Review work from other artists and provide clear, actionable feedback to maintain the team’s quality bar.

• Identify and escalate potential art pipeline or implementation risks early in production.

• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure assets meet visual, gameplay, and performance requirements.

• Help maintain and expand reusable asset libraries and templates to improve production efficiency.

• Support the team in resolving visual bugs, polish issues, and asset integration challenges.

Who You Are

• Strong experience creating performant 3D assets in Roblox Studio.

• Advanced skills in 3D modeling, topology, UV unwrapping, baking, and asset optimization.

• Deep understanding of Roblox asset performance constraints and optimization techniques.

• Strong ability to execute consistently within Brookhaven’s established art style.

• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality Roblox environments, including houses, map locations, or collaboration spaces.

• Ability to bridge art and technical considerations when building assets for live gameplay.

• Strong creative instincts with the ability to elevate assets while respecting the existing direction.

• Ability to work full-time.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice to Have

• Experience with animation or rigging workflows.

• Substance Designer or advanced material workflows.

• UI/UX asset creation experience.

• VFX or SFX creation.

• Blender or Maya

• Substance Painter

• Photoshop or equivalent

• Marmoset Toolbag

• ZBrush or equivalent

Location

• Remote / Timezone: EST or PST working hours required

• Travel: 2-3x / year (RDC + team meet-ups)
