We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Designer with a strong emphasis on the 3Cs of game design: Camera, Controls, and Character. This role is crucial in crafting satisfying, engaging, and exciting 3Cs experiences that span across all platforms and game genres. As a Senior 3Cs Designer, you will be responsible for developing innovative and seamless interactions between the camera, controls, and characters, ensuring a captivating gameplay experience for our players.

 

Responsibilities:

3Cs Design Mastery: Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of the 3Cs of game design (Camera, Controls, and Character) to create immersive and seamless gameplay experiences that resonate with players.

Cross-Platform Excellence: Design 3Cs interactions that translate effortlessly across various platforms, including PC, console, mobile, and beyond, providing a consistent and enjoyable experience for all players.

Genre Adaptability: Apply your expertise in 3Cs design to craft gameplay mechanics that suit a diverse range of game genres, making each one satisfying and compelling.

Player Engagement: Develop 3Cs systems that enhance player engagement, immersion, and excitement, keeping players invested in the game for the long term.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including systems design, technical design, content development, and producers, to ensure a seamless integration of 3Cs design into the overall gameplay experience.

Prototyping and Iteration: Rapidly prototype and iterate on 3Cs interactions to fine-tune and optimize gameplay experiences for maximum enjoyment.

User-Centric Focus: Advocate for user-centric design decisions, leveraging player feedback and data to continually improve and enhance the 3Cs gameplay experience.

Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive design documentation to effectively communicate 3Cs concepts and guidelines to the development team.

 

Required Skills:

Game Design Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Gameplay Designer with a strong focus on designing gameplay and 3Cs (Camera, Controls, and Character) interactions.

3Cs Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of designing compelling 3Cs experiences that elevate gameplay across different platforms and game genres.

 

Cross-Platform Proficiency: Experience in adapting and optimizing 3Cs interactions for various gaming platforms.

Passion for Player Experience: A genuine passion for creating gameplay experiences that deeply resonate with players and keep them invested in the game.

Collaborative Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Innovative Thinking: Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and gameplay design, with an eye for detail and player satisfaction.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing successful 3Cs design implementations in game projects.

Cross-Genre Experience: Experience in designing 3Cs interactions for games that blend elements from multiple genres or experience in games from multiple genres.

Accessibility Advocacy: Familiarity with incorporating accessibility features into 3Cs design to cater to a diverse player audience.
