An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Self-Employed Site Manager to take the lead on a well-defined education project in Hertfordshire, running from around May 26 through to October 26.

This is a hands-on role managing the construction of a new classroom block within a live school environment, with a project value of approximately £1–£1.5 million. You’ll be trusted to run the site day-to-day, maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and programme delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar-scale projects
  • SMSTS and relevant site certifications
  • Experience working in live school environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of light gauge steel construction would be a strong advantage
  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to work autonomously
  • Strong consideration given to candidates with an excellent work ethic and proactive approach
