A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Project Manager to lead a business-critical site relocation project.

We are supporting a well‑established organisation as they prepare to move from their current facility in South Wonston, Winchester (SO21) to a newly built site in Hook. With the building completion expected mid-March, we are seeking someone who can join immediately to plan, manage, and oversee the entire relocation process from end to end.

This is a hands‑on contract suitable for a confident, organised operational project specialist who can ensure a seamless transition with minimal downtime to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of the full site move.
  • Oversee labour teams, removal contractors and stakeholders to ensure all elements run to plan.
  • Manage logistics, equipment transfer, workflow continuity and contingency planning.
  • Monitor progress throughout the move to ensure timelines and milestones are met.
  • Deliver a smooth handover upon completion, ensuring operations resume with minimal disruption.
  • Proactively resolve issues and maintain strong communication with internal teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in operational project management, ideally with involvement in site moves, relocations or similar high‑impact operational projects.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently make informed recommendations (e.g., full‑time or part‑time utilisation).
  • A practical, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to maintain control over multiple moving parts.
