Here’s some information about our Software Engineering Graduate Program  

We first established this program in SEEK Australia in 2017 and in 2022 we hired our first cohort of graduates in Malaysia. We are here to grow broad technologists with exposure to specialisations (think Security, Mobile Apps) to help YOU choose your technology career path.  

Program highlights:  

  • Permanent Employment – You will be joining us as a permanent employee as we want you to grow with us for the long-term!  

  • Program Rotations - Experience two 6-month rotations where you’ll be embedded in teams of your choice, where you get to apply your learning, and develop your technical craft. Don't forget, bring your curiosity and growth mindset to our Engineering community 

  • On the job Learning - You'll get to learn from our professional software engineers, hone your skills and ship clean code to production.  

  • 4-week Accelerator Program - Yes, you read that right! We will guide your learning & development through an accelerator. You'll be exposed to various technologies: Mobile apps, AWS, TypeScript, GraphQL, NodeJS, JavaScript, React, serverless architecture, continuous delivery and security.  

  • Supervisor & Buddy System – You will be assigned to rotational supervisors who will ensure that you're on track with your goals. Your buddy who is your first friend at SEEK. Feel free to ask them for anything you need.  

  • SEEK Support – You will get to choose a mentor who will guide you on your SEEK path. You will also have The SEEK grad crew who will share their experiences being in your shoes some time ago! 

  • Starting Monthly Base Salary - RM4,500  

What do you need to be accepted into SEEK?  

In short, to get one foot into SEEK, you will need to possess the following attributes:  

  • A final year student or graduate with no more than 2 years of working experience in any field (preferably Computer Science/Software Engineering). 

  • A Malaysian Citizen or holds Malaysian Permanent Resident Status. 

  • Able to start your career journey with us in August 2025 

  • Love for code: showcase your passion projects, GitHub profile, contributions to Stack Overflow, and if you attend any industry events or meetups. 

  • Strong team orientation: you can listen and contribute in equal parts. 

  • Ability to collaborate, be curious, have fun, and not be afraid to be yourself. 

  • A problem solver who possesses critical thinking skills and effective communication skills. 

  • Contributions to your community (e.g. volunteering) will be an added advantage.

What can you expect from our hiring process?  

Once we’ve received your application, our hiring process will involve the following:  

  • You will receive a link from the Hiring Team containing a series of questions that include both technical and behavioral components.  .  

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to our Assessment Day – meet some of our team and learn a lot more about SEEK.
