Security Team Lead - Full Time - Winter / Seasonal - Kirkwood, CA

The Security Team Lead will supervise staff Security Officers, schedule day and night shift personnel and monitor staff performance. This position requires extensive record keeping and forwarding of information to staff. This person will report to the Security Manager. Assistance may be provided for qualified candidates needing to obtain their California Guard Card.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assigns staff daily post assignments.
• Review of submitted reports and daily log entries.
• Conducts weekly service, procedure and safety meetings.
• Mediating disputes.
• Maintain high level of security departments visible presence
• Incident and accident review and follow up investigations
• Staff training and corrective actions
• Assure that all required staff training and certification is compliant with state law
• Identifying and reporting, or correcting safety issues
• Enforcement of Housing policies
• Tracking department vehicle service records.
• Monitors daily logs and reports as well as regular security obligations.
• Performs all duties listed for Security Officer position; intervenes when situations escalate.  

  Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous supervisor experience
• Able to lift and carry 25 lbs
• Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English language proficiently
• Able to pass background check
• Clean and current driving record
• Able to work outside in varying and extreme conditions
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

 Preferred skills:

• 1-2 years previous supervisor experience in high paced work environment;
• 1-2 years Guest Service experience
• Security, Law Enforcement or Military background
• Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel)
