Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale security system installations while ensuring the highest standards of quality, managing cross-functional teams, and engaging with stakeholders.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Field Project Manager for a Media & Entertainment company based in Los Angeles, California. The Security Systems Field PM will work a hybrid model – three to four days per week onsite and one to two days remote. This is a full-time position offering competitive benefits.
The Security Systems Field PM will oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale system installations for new builds and major retrofit programs, ensuring all projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, security, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, managing schedules, leading cross-functional meetings, and driving timely follow-up on action items to ensure successful project completion. The Security Systems Field PM will coordinate closely with vendors and internal stakeholders across all phases of the project lifecycle, including design development, bid management, installation oversight, and final testing and commissioning. The role requires weekly site walks and hands-on field leadership, with strong proficiency in access control system installations and expert knowledge of cabling, device back boxes, terminations, and field integration workflows.
The Security Systems Field PM will be responsible for a complex, multi-building, multi-site portfolio that includes a large-scale replacement of legacy access control technologies, demanding rigorous technical accuracy, disciplined documentation, and alignment with best-in-class security standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining complete project documentation—drawings, warranties, and design packages—proactively resolving trade coordination conflicts across electrical, locksmith, and facilities teams, and delivering disciplined project controls through Gantt-based schedules, look-ahead planning, and roadmap deliverables.
The ideal candidate is confident presenting to senior executives while remaining deeply engaged in the field, producing clear agendas, meeting notes, action items, and executive-ready status updates to leadership.
