Security Supervisor

Supervise the security team at Stanly Ranch, ensuring safety protocols are followed and incidents are effectively managed while providing excellent support to guests and team members.

The Security Supervisor assists the Director of Security & Safety in the day to day oversight of the Security team and its overall operation.  The Security Supervisor serves as an invaluable resource to team members and guests regarding. The Security Supervisor will act as the point of contact for the Security department in the absence of the Director of Security and/or MOD.

Core Responsibilities

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Ensure accountability on daily tasks, as assigned
  • Supervise daily departmental operations with Director oversight 
  • Assist with training of staff
  • Patrol the property with specified equipment, check all designated points and document all actions taken
  • Identify and resolve safety hazard situations
  • Assist with cross-departmental training
  • Work with the Director of Security on oversight of the Safety Committee 
  • Provide high-level incident reporting and communicate with department leaders accordingly
  • Manage the incident reports and upkeep of file reports
  • Ensure all guest room doors are secured; assist guests and residents with room access
  • Investigate suspicious persons on resort property and complete incident reports as necessary
  • Conduct investigations into theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints, other guest and resident complaints, and any other investigations as required; Follow up documentation as required
  • Respond to Guest, Team Members, Resident, Vendor or any other accidents on resort property immediately; administer first aid/CPR; 
  • Assess need to contact E.M.S./ Fire Department/ or Police based on severity of incident
  • Comply with state regulations and resort guidelines for handling intoxicated persons on report property 
  • Assist with coordination, testing, and monitoring of Fire Life and Safety systems throughout the resort
  • Coordinate towing of vehicles

The starting range for this position is $34.00. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in English
  • 1-2 years experience as a Security Supervisor or equivalent role.
  • Valid drivers' license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a luxury environment is a plus
  • Bi-lingual
