The Entry Level Security Specialist supports the administration of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) under close supervision. This role involves assisting in the security and administrative management of assigned SCI and SAP while addressing all aspects of security, including personnel, physical, operations, and communications security. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the security administration of SCI and SAP under close supervision.
- Assist in the security and administrative management of assigned SCI and SAP.
- Contribute to the implementation of security measures, considering personnel security, physical security, operations security, and communications security.
- Help ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education:
- Required Degree: High School diploma or GED.
- Certification: Must obtain Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within one year of employment and maintain certification throughout employment.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of recent and relevant experience in security management or related fields.
Security Clearance:
- Minimum Requirement: TOP SECRET
