We seek a highly motivated, detail oriented, security management professional with creativity, initiative, teamwork, and project management skills to manage on and off-site security task delivery, security plan refinement & implementation, embedded consultants, contractors and other risk management solutions for our clients.

This role will support project implementation, management, and administration for the delivery of protection services, on-site training. The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual, initially taking on immediate project execution and security plan refinement and development, as well as resource management.

Key roles, tasks and responsibilities.

  • Operational support and advisory to client’s senior leadership
  • Coordinate with the SOC efforts
  • Ensure compliance with the policy and strategy of senior leadership
  • Provide operational support in the evaluation, development, and execution of site security strategies
  • Direct contracted security personnel and security subcontractors, ensuring they consistently meet project contracts and deadlines
  • Provide essential safety briefings to local staff and visiting parties while on-site
  • Lead the preparation and implementations of emergency crisis protocols, site security survey plans, security assessments, and training programs for personnel
  • Assist in security investigation as required
  • Monitor the response to local security incidents, including crisis management and emergency response with the support of the SOC
  • Provide periodical intelligence reports and assessments as required by client
  • Liaise with government authorities such as, Army, Navy, National Guard, State and Local Police, and other relevant entities
  • Preparation of security reports as required supported with SOC intelligence
  • Readily available to support in an emergency situation or incident
  • Report and support Key Control Risks
  • Other tasks that may arise from daily operation with the client

Requirements

  • Security experience at Mine sites (or equivalent)
  • Excellent English- Spanish language, spoken and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal communications and client facing skills
  • Basic financial literacy
  • Security Plan development and implementation skills
  • Very strong administrative skill set
  • Proven track record of administrative excellence
  • At least 6 years’ experience in delivery of Security Management
  • At least 3 years’ experience in field security (i.e. field deployments, tours, or missions)
  • Able to excel in high stress environments
  • Preferably 2-5 years military background (or equivalent)
  • Use of MS - Office suite
  • Ability to travel and deploy to jobsite on a rotational basis. (22 days on 8 days off. This is still to be defined, but if they might ask this is what we are going with for now. )
