Wachter is hiring a Traveling Security Systems Field Manager — This position is focused on managing, coordinating, and verifying technical installations of physical security systems (access control, surveillance/CCTV, intrusion systems, and related low-voltage technologies) across multiple project sites.
You will work directly with installation teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure technical compliance to security system designs, installation standards, and client specifications.
-This role is NOT responsible for property monitoring, guard duty, patrolling, loss prevention, or general help-desk IT support.
-This position provides project management and operational support.

Must Have Experience:
Experience in Fire Alarm, Burg Alarm, CCTV, Access Control.
Construction background a must.
Experience working with engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs is helpful.
Basic understanding of supply chain facilities within the low voltage industry
Experience running multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient with the use of computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Must type at least 40 WPM.
Requirements:
Full time travel role: Weekly up to 5 days per week traveling to different projects in a designated region.
Check the quality of the physical install.
Do project kick offs and scope clarification walks.
Work with Site Contacts to develop relationships and built trust between Wachter and the customer.
Check progress of install by the contractor against the timeline of the overall project.
Any other tasks deemed necessary by the in office Security Manager team.
Field Managers will report onsite findings back to the in office Security Managers so that those managers can speak accurately about the project with the customer.
