Job Overview:
Varonis’ Incident Response team is a globally distributed, outcome-driven organisation focused on delivering exceptional post-sales security outcomes to our customers. We are seeking a Security Analyst who will maximize the customer’s value from Varonis through direct customer engagement. The analyst will provide customer-facing services, including incident response, investigations, alert reviews, and security posture reviews. They will have intimate knowledge of Varonis’ platforms and must be dedicated to a career in detecting and responding to insider threats and cyber-attacks. They will develop knowledge of and expertise in security ecosystems (ex. SIEM, SOAR, ITSM, EDR, IPS/IDS, Active Directory, Firewall, DNS, etc.) They will develop additional expertise in Varonis and assist in making Varonis a key component of every security program. They will develop knowledge in Incident Response procedures and will participate in Incident Response operations coordinating efforts across multiple regions and departments. They will educate customers, and other Varonis employees, on Varonis capabilities, cyber threats, and security trends. They will engage in technical sales-related activities to drive customer renewals and to identify upsell opportunities. This individual must be comfortable demonstrating the business value of Varonis to both technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
Responsibilities:

Participate in Incident Response (IR) Operations and assist IR Management in the coordination of IR activities across multiple regions and departments.

Deliver Threat Detection & Response outcome-oriented initiatives to Varonis customers.

Monitor for security threats and operational impact to Varonis’ Threat Detection and Response mission.

Exhibit Extreme Ownership of their customer portfolio.

Consult with customers to ensure that Varonis’ products are a major component in their Security Stack and Security Program.

Integrate Varonis’ products into the customers’ security ecosystem and threat detection workflows.

Participate in Product Operations identifying inhibitors of value and raising them with leadership and product management.

Deliver sales presentations, present technical information about Varonis’ products and services, and conduct product demonstrations.

Coordinate with Account Teams, IR Teams, and Architect teams to leverage company resources and to ensure the customer has a unified Varonis experience.

Continuously develop and expand on security knowledge.

Be passionate and dedicated to a fast-paced high impact organization and its mission.

Requirements:
- 3+ Years of experience in a Security Analyst or Engineer role, 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Proven ability to document and track activities.
- Proven ability to work and operate independently, when required.
- Demonstrated customer facing experience.
- Experience presenting and persuading key stakeholders.
- Proven time management/self-initiative skills.
- Based in Israel (Within commuting distance of Israeli office preferred).
- Fluent Hebrew + fluent English (good enough to run sessions in English with non-Hebrew speaking customers)
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience with MDR and IR vendor offerings.
- 1+ Years of IT Security Incident Response experience preferred.
- 1+ Years of Varonis experience a bonus.
- Demonstrated technical sales or technical sales related experience a bonus.
- Experience working with other European customers is a plus.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership potential in a professional setting; either military or civilian.
- Up to 15% travel required
