Sector Lead - Corporate & Data Centre Services

AI overview

Lead the virtual data centre services team to enhance client engagement and drive operational success through effective management and leadership across all functions.

About us:
Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem—our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn’t an option.

And that problem isn’t exclusive to the military, either. Students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities.

Conventional home broadband doesn’t always work for them.

Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms.

We take the complexity out of connectivity.

The opportunity:
Provide client, commercial and operational leadership for the Wifinity Data Centre clients and internal teams.

  • Provide leadership for the virtual data centre services team across all functions
  • Work with sales, onboarding new clients into delivery and operations to ensure all contractual and customer expectations are met.
  • Manage the client relationship with a goal of maintaining a high level of client engagement through the effective delivery of contractual obligations
  • Work with existing customers to identify product and service additions, changes, moves and ceases and ensure relevant 3rd party obligations are aligned
  • Track and own renewals for existing clients, and coordinate with sales when appropriate
  • Provide leadership via the matrix reporting structure for the Wifinity Data Centre team
  • Support sales in winning new clients
  • Invoice reconciliation from providers and tracking/facilitating accurate billing to customers (particularly on complex variable invoicing items).

Key areas of focus:

  • Revenue & invoicing. Be accountable for accurate billing in accordance with contractual terms by collaborating with the relevant functions (delivery, operations, and finance) to represent the contract and the client's needs.
  • Customer satisfaction & engagement. Track and monitor client satisfaction, identify opportunities to improve engagement, and work with relevant functions to implement.
  • Adds, moves and changes. Work with the client to identify additional requirements, moves and changes, and coordinate with delivery, operations and finance to ensure successful implementation.
  • Service reporting & quality. Ensure all contracted service reports are completed on time, to a high standard, in accordance with our obligations, and include analysis that supports clients' and Wifinity’s needs.
  • Adherence to SLA & general obligations. Ensure all service-level commitments and other contractual obligations are understood and accepted by delivery, operations, and corporate functions. Identify any gaps and work with the relevant heads of department to mitigate and implement any required service improvement plans.
  • Onboarding New Clients. Ensure that delivery, operations, finance, and other support functions have a clear understanding of the contractual commitments, business objectives, and success drivers for new clients. Hold the project management, service transition, and operational functions to account to ensure responsibilities are executed in accordance with the contracts.
  • Renewals. Manage the renewal process for existing agreements with a clear plan that coordinates all relevant functions (sales, commercial, legal, delivery, operations, and finance).
  • Client Specific Service Improvement. Develop service improvement plans and required business justification. And coordinate with the relevant functions to implement them.
