Role Overview

We are seeking a Scrum Manager (Scrum Master) to drive execution excellence across cross-functional engineering squads. This role owns the Scrum process end-to-end, removes delivery blockers, improves team velocity, and ensures teams consistently deliver high-quality outcomes on time. The Scrum Manager acts as a servant-leader for the squad and partners closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Design, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Agile & Scrum Delivery

• Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Ensure consistent sprint execution and adherence to Agile best practices without over-bureaucratizing teams
• Maintain clear sprint goals and ensure alignment between delivery work and product priorities
• Track sprint progress and delivery health using Agile metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, and burndown

Execution Management

• Identify delivery blockers early and drive resolution across Engineering, Product, Compliance, Operations, and external vendors
• Improve delivery predictability through better estimation, sequencing, and risk management
• Support teams in balancing feature delivery with technical debt, stability initiatives, and platform improvements

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

• Act as the primary coordination point between Product Managers, Engineering Managers, QA, and leadership
• Provide clear and concise weekly status updates covering progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines
• Facilitate smooth cross-team dependencies and alignment across multiple squads when required

Continuous Improvement

• Coach teams on Agile maturity and continuous improvement practices
• Identify bottlenecks across the SDLC (planning, development, QA, release) and drive process improvements
• Foster a strong culture of ownership and accountability without micromanagement

Tooling & Reporting

• Manage sprint boards and workflows using tools such as Jira, Linear, or ClickUp
• Ensure backlog items meet standards of readiness, including clear acceptance criteria, sizing, dependencies, and test approach
• Improve reporting accuracy and ensure stakeholders have real-time visibility into delivery progress

Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Scrum Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead
• Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery frameworks
• Experience supporting delivery in a cross-functional product engineering environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at multiple levels
• Proven ability to remove blockers and drive execution in fast-paced environments
• Comfortable working with distributed teams and managing multiple parallel workstreams

• Experience in Fintech, Payments, Crypto, Web3, or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with SDLC best practices, including QA cycles, release planning, and incident workflows
• Demonstrated experience driving process improvements across teams (beyond running ceremonies)
• Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM I/II, or SAFe are a plus but not required
