School Counselor

As a School Counselor in our alternative education program, you’ll support our high-risk students from elementary through high school. To support their IEP and behavior goals, you’ll provide individual and group counseling, treatment planning, behavior interventions, skill building, and build strong therapeutic relationships to empower students and families with tools for success.  You’ll work with the student and staff through crisis intervention, to recognize triggers and provide strategies for defusing situations. This allows the student to learn more appropriate ways of handling their problems and taking charge of their goals. This position offers wonderful mental health counseling experience with clinical support and licensure supervision!

• School hours (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
