We are a growing tutoring company looking for an experienced SAT/ACT, SSAT/ISEE expert to take ownership of our test prep program. This is a part-time leadership role for someone who wants to shape curriculum, train tutors, and be the point person for SAT/ACT strategy — without working full-time hours.
This role is ideal for someone who has deep test prep experience and enjoys building systems, mentoring tutors, and helping families understand how to succeed on standardized tests.
Responsibilities
Test Prep Leadership
• Own the academic quality of our SAT and ACT, SSAT and ISEE programs
• Establish best practices for instruction, diagnostics, and score improvement
• Serve as the internal expert on SAT/ACT, SSAT/ISEE strategy
Curriculum Development
• Build and refine SAT/ACT, SSAT/ISEE curriculum, lesson frameworks, and materials
• Create clear teaching guides that tutors can consistently follow
• Continuously improve materials based on student outcomes
Tutor Training & Support
• Train new and existing tutors on how to teach SAT and ACT, SSAT and ISEE effectively
• Run occasional training sessions and provide instructional feedback
• Ensure consistent quality across all test prep tutors
Client Communication & Outreach
• Call and speak with prospective SAT/ACT, SSAT/ISEE families
• Explain test prep strategy, timelines, and expectations to parents and students
• Help match students with appropriate tutoring plans
Position Details
• Part-time role (approximately 10-15 hours per week, flexible scheduling)
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate, $35-45/hour, based on experience
• Opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role as the company expands
• Hybrid, (remote depending on location)
