We are currently seeking an experienced Analyst with solid SAS programming experience to become an integral part of our dynamic and multi-disciplinary data sciences unit. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with top-notch researchers in advanced clinical data analytics, ensuring the highest standards in research and analysis activities. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Candidates will work within multidisciplinary research teams, providing expertise in statistical programming, analysis and modeling. Requirements include proven experience in medical research, 3 to 5 years of solid experience in SAS; strong organizational skills, personal effectiveness and time management; strong written and verbal communication skills; and ability to work within highly productive teams with expert direction and supervision.

 

 Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of solid work experience as a statistical programmer in medical research, health sciences, clinical research, or the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficiency with SAS programming demonstrated through at least 3 years of hands-on experience, including use of macros and regression modeling.
  • Understanding of clinical and epidemiological research 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a dedicated commitment to delivering high-quality work to company standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including exceptional communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, and professional integrity 
  • Self-motivated individual known for consistently delivering top-tier performance, ability to work under pressure 

 

Role Overview: 

 

This role plays a pivotal part in the Data Science department's commitment to maintaining the highest data management and statistical standards in designing and conducting our research programs. The role entails substantial programming responsibilities.  The Clinical Data Programmer Analyst is supervised by the Clinical Data Sciences Lead and collaborates closely with Clinical Project Management, IT, and Clinical Data Management Divisions.
