We are currently seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical Project Manager for a contract position within the banking industry. This role will involve the management of complex projects, focusing on SAP solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and drive value across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of SAP technologies and the banking sector, able to facilitate collaboration between different teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP technical projects within the banking domain from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations, to ensure effective tracking and completion of project tasks.
• Oversee the technical aspects of the SAP implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues, providing solutions to achieve project objectives within defined timelines and budget.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, management, and clients to provide regular updates on project progress and potential challenges.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality documentation and reporting, maintaining project records and facilitating knowledge transfer among team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in SAP environments, with a focus on the banking industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and technologies, including implementation and upgrade processes.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with teams and manage client relationships.
• Ability to analyze project requirements and develop effective project strategies to meet objectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
