Project: SAP Upgrade and Process Optimization

Context:
The project involves an upgrade from an older SAP version to the latest release to streamline and optimize the system architecture. The main objective is to simplify the existing SAP applications landscape, harmonize core maintenance processes, and enhance data integration between commercial and maintenance areas, especially in the domains of vehicle and infrastructure management.

Services Required:

• Technical support for the conception, implementation, and testing of SAP Finance (FI) and SAP-ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) components.
• Methodological guidance in process improvement, documentation, and the development of solution strategies for the transition from the current state to the target system architecture.
• Organizing workshops and offering technical advice to the project team.
• Development and presentation of solution options to streamline and improve project processes and systems.

Project Details:

• Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
• Service Provision:
• The services are planned to begin in January 2025 and end by December 2026.
• The service provision may include both remote work and occasional on-site tasks. On-site activities are not required regularly but may occur if necessary.
• The contractor must adhere to project governance and coordination processes defined by the client’s representatives.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience:
• At least 5 years of practical experience in SAP projects, specifically in the SAP FI and SAP-ILM areas.
• Experience with SAP upgrade projects and process integration.
• Proven experience with system architecture simplifications and harmonization of core business processes, especially in finance and procurement.
• At least 1 project reference for SAP Finance (FI) and 3 references for SAP-ILM.
• Skills:
• Strong expertise in SAP FI and SAP-ILM.
• Hands-on experience with SAP system architecture and module upgrades.
• Methodological skills for managing complex processes, including solution development and documentation.
• Ability to lead workshops and guide project stakeholders through solution options and project goals.
• Agile project management skills (preferably Kanban-based).
• Fluency in German, as the project will be conducted in this language.
